Mega milestone alert!

It’s a busy old time for the young royals at the moment, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent tour of Southern Africa, and Prince William and Kate Middleton just back from their visit to Pakistan. That’s a lot of royal tour rules to follow.

Earlier this week, William and Kate’s plane was forced to abort landing twice because of thunderstorms in the area, but that aside it’s still been a jam-packed week in Pakistan for them both.

The royal couple have met the country’s Prime Minister and President, visited an Army Canine Centre, and even managed to squeeze in a game of cricket with children at the National Cricket Academy.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge often speak to members of the public and press at public appearances, it’s rare for them to give televised interviews. So rare in fact, the last time they gave one was when they announced their engagement all the way back in 2010. How time flies!

Breaking their nine-year hiatus, however, the couple recently spoke to CNN in a televised interview about their trip, during a visit to a local orphanage.

‘William and I really wanted to come and see an SOS Children’s Village like this,’ Kate told reporter Max Foster. ‘There’s so many vulnerable women here but they really sort of use their positivity, and the support that the village here provides them, really to support and protect the next generation, the children in their care, and give them the best possible start to their future lives.’
