Ever since Kate Middleton and Prince William welcomed their son Louis in 2018, royal fans have been excited to know if they will have another child. The couple currently has three kids together, though it would not be out of the ordinary for royals to have four. As such, there always seems to be pregnancy rumors surrounding Middleton.

Recently, fans have been in a frenzy following a statement made by a royal historian about Middleton possibly having another baby. It got so crazy that bookmakers had to suspend betting on a 2020 birth for the Cambridges.

Kate Middleton’s pregnancy rumors

The pregnancy rumors started gaining traction earlier this year when Middleton was at Royal Ascot. She was seen with her hand resting on her stomach many times throughout the event, which led fans to speculate Middleton could perhaps be cradling a small baby bump.

Later on, when Middleton dropped her children off for their first day of school, she was spotted with a new hairdo. Fans have noticed that Middleton tends to change her hairstyle whenever she is prepared to announce a pregnancy. In 2013 she got bangs during her pregnancy with Prince George, and in 2017 her hair became noticeably shorter when she was pregnant with Prince Louis.

Kate Middleton ‘would love another child’

Royal historian Juliet Rieden recently shared that the Duchess of Cambridge could actually have a fourth baby in the future.

“She has talked on and off about William not wanting more and her wanting more, I’m sure she would love another child,” Rieden said. “I would think it’s unlikely, but who knows?”

Bookmakers also revealed that the odds of Middleton giving birth in 2020 is now at 3/1. “The latest betting definitely suggests there could be an announcement around the corner and when it comes bookies should brace themselves for the biggest royal betting frenzy of all time,” a spokesperson for Bookmakers.tv said.

To make royal fans even more excited, there have even been reports that Prince William secretly went to Balmoral Castle, where Queen Elizabeth lives during the summer, to personally share with Her Majesty the happy news.

Fans believe other royal ladies might be pregnant as well

The Cambridge household is not the only one that could potentially have a new bundle of joy. Fans believe that both Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie might be pregnant and there could actually be three royal births in 2020.

Although Markle gave birth to her son Archie back in May and was advised to not get pregnant again until at least a year has passed, fans still believe she could be expecting a child now. During her tour of southern Africa, she was seen wearing some loose dresses. Markle also had her hands on her stomach often, which made fans believe that she might have been trying to cradle or cover a baby bump.

Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank last year. The couple has not welcomed a child yet, but onlookers believe that they might soon. Princess Eugenie was seen wearing a flowing gown at the Garden Party at Buckingham Palace and drinking water instead of alcohol at a Celine Dion concert.

Alex Apati of betting company Ladbrokes said: “Kate and Will have made it clear they’re keen to add to their family in the past and with a second baby soon to be expected from Harry and Meghan, and a potential royal wedding on the horizon for Beatrice, we’re strapping ourselves in for a hectic 2020!”

While it can be fun for royal fans to speculate on who is pregnant and who isn’t, ultimately, rumors will simply remain rumors until an official announcement is made.
