Here’s everything you need to know…

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the news that they were expecting a baby in Spring 2019, just months ago, with the exciting news sending the internet into a frenzy.

Who are the god parents going to be? What will be the royal baby name of choice? And of course, when is the due date?

While Meghan has reportedly hinted at an April arrival and there are now rumours that the Duchess will be giving birth in St Mary’s hospital Lindo Wing after all, the question on everyone’s lips this week surrounds Meghan’s team after the birth.

It has been reported that Meghan – ever the LA girl – is planning on hiring a doula to help with the birth and the months that follow.

Doulas are non medically trained guides recruited as birth companions and coaches, offering emotional and practical support throughout labour and after.

Being doula to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is undoubtedly a highly coveted position, so who has got it? According to the speculation on the Doula UK members website, the job may have gone to Lauren Mischon, who when asked if the rumours were true on the message board, replied with the message: ‘I’m busy in Spring. I could not possibly say.’

Not long now till the royal baby arrives!
