Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are allegedly leaving the United Kingdom for good. One obvious indication is the fact that they are rumored to have purchased a property in the United States.
Throughout the past year, multiple tabloids have claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex purchased an expensive property in Markle’s hometown so that they could be closer to her mom, Doria Ragland. Additionally, the royal couple also wants their son, Archie, to get to know his mom’s culture.
Last April 2018, New Idea was the first to report that Prince Harry and Markle purchased a lavish property in Malibu. The royal couple’s future home still needs to be renovated so that it will have tons of space for entertainment.
Weeks later, Star picked up on the tabloid’s story by saying that Prince Harry and Markle shelled out $16 million for the property. The tabloid quoted real estate experts but their names were not mentioned in their story.
Two months later, Grazia revealed that the “Suits” alum was the one who saw the property, and Prince Harry simply agreed to pay for it. But after all of those stories were published, the rumor-debunking site, Gossip Cop, was quick to deny the reports.
The publication said that there is no truth to the rumors that Prince Harry and Markle purchased a home in Malibu. It is also untrue that they are leaving the United Kingdom to live in the US permanently.
What has recently been confirmed is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be traveling to Los Angeles to celebrate Thanksgiving with her mom. Details about the family’s upcoming trip are being kept under wraps due to security concerns.
But royal experts revealed that Prince Harry and Markle will be in the US until December because they will also be celebrating Christmas there. In a statement released to the public, it was confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II allowed the Sussexes to not celebrate Christmas in Sandringham this year.
