Prince Harry was snapped flying economy back to the UK following England’s failed Rugby World Cup bid.

An eyewitness said they saw the Duke of Sussex sitting in premium economy on a flight leaving Tokyo on Sunday, according to the Mail Online.

It comes after the prince was spotted flying out on Friday on a commercial flight ahead of the final clash on Saturday with South Africa.

Irish drag queen Victoria Secret photographed Harry on a flight from London to Tokyo, sharing the picture on Instagram.

Victoria wrote on Twitter: “Sitting across from Prince Harry on our flight to Tokyo and I can confirm he is a beaut.

“Nearly fell off my seat when he came on board.”

Earlier this year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex faced backlash for campaigning for reportedly taking four private jet journeys in 11 days, rather than opting for commercial flights.

Celebrities defended Harry and Meghan, with singer Sir Elton John revealing that he provided the couple and their baby son Archie with a private flight to Nice to “maintain a high level of much-needed protection”.

Sir Elton condemned the “relentless and untrue assassinations on their character” and wrote on social media he had made sure the flight was carbon-neutral by making the “appropriate contribution” to a carbon footprint fund.

England were beaten 12-32 to South Africa in last Saturday’s final.

The backlash against the Sussex’s appears to be taking its toll.

The pair dropped a series of bombshell in a tell-all documentary interview last month, with Meghan Markle admitting she is “not OK”.

An emotional Meghan appeared to be on the verge of tears as she admitted struggling with the recent criticism of her from the press and public.

She told the ITV documentary which followed her and Harry’s tour of Africa: “It’s not enough to just survive something, that’s not the point of life.”

Harry also spoke emotionally in the programme and even went as far as admitting he and Meghan have thought of moving out of the UK.

And he appeared to confirm long-running claims of a rift between him and his brother Prince William, admitting that they are now on “different paths”.

On Monday they shared a cryptic message on Instagram about overcoming “fear” .

It read:“Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid. Courage means you don’t let fear stop you.”

The quote was made by shark attack survivor and famous surfer Bethany Hamilton.
