Naked photos of Prince Harry were leaked online after the then 27-year-old royal spent a few days partying at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas.
Prince Harry‘s 2012 partying holiday to Las Vegas got the royal into all sorts of trouble.
During his stay at the luxury Wynn hotel, where suites cost up to £5,000-a-night, the then 27-year-old prince partied with pals and other guests.
Photos of him standing naked cupping his private parts alongside a naked woman were leaked online bringing shame on the young royal.
During the trip Harry reportedly racked up a £30,000 bill, but didn’t have to pay a penny of it.
Speaking on Channel 5 documentary Spending Secrets of the Royals, royal expert Katie Nicholl claims the bill was wiped clean by the hotel’s billionaire owner.
She says: “Steve Wynn, the owner of the hotel Harry was staying in, just wiped the slate clean.”
Harry apologised for the incident and admitted he had let his family down.
He said: “At the end of the day I probably let myself down, I let my family down, I let other people down…
“But it was probably a classic example of me probably being too much army, and not enough prince. It’s a simple case of that.”
The prince told how he has created “three mes” as a way of coping with the demands of his royal life, his army life and still being able to enjoy his personal life.
He explained: “One in the army, one socially in my own private time, and then one with the family and stuff like that.
“So there is a switch and I flick it when necessary. And I’d like to think that it’s measured and balanced as the way it is.”
He said: “I think, to be honest with you, it’s the role for anybody in the army, especially the role for myself and William – you’ve got to be able to flip the switch all the time.”
But Harry revealed he has no hesitation about which role comes first in his own life, adding: “Army comes first.”
“It’s my work at the end of the day.”
And when asked if he feels more comfortable as Captain Wales than Prince Harry , the prince responded: “Definitely. I’ve always been like that.”
He added: “My father’s always trying to remind me about who I am and stuff like that.
“But it’s very easy to forget about who I am when I am in the army.
“Everyone’s wearing the same uniform and doing the same kind of thing.”
