Prince William and Kate Middleton are on day two of their royal tour of Pakistan, with this being the Duke and Duchess’ first official visit to the country.
During their tour, the royal couple ‘will pay respect to the historical relationship between Britain and Pakistan, but will largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today — a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation.’
Since their arrival, the Duke and Duchess have been making non-stop viral news, from their tour itinerary and the absence of their children to their sweet behind-the-scenes shots and onboard medic – a first for the Cambridges.
Today however it’s not the couple’s logistics that are making news but their style, with Kate and William arriving for an event at the Pakistan National Monument in a jazzed up tuk tuk.
Yes, really. In a video that is fast-becoming viral, the Duke and Duchess can be seen disembarking the colourful tuk tuk all-smiles in their finery.
‘It is our great pleasure to join you here this evening on our first official visit to Pakistan,’ William announced in the video, posted to the Kensington Royal Instagram account. ‘I would like to begin by saying bahut shukria to you all for making us so welcome in your country.’
