Princess Beatrice and fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi had a night out in London yesterday, nearly a week after they announced their royal engagement. The lovebirds were seen holding hands on the sidewalk as they attended a launch party for the upcoming book, The Dior Sessions.
Beatrice dressed up in a shimmery, dark green midi dress by The Vampire’s Wife, which featured ruffles on the skirt hem and sleeves. Her beau looked equal parts sharp and causal in a navy suit, banded collar shirt, and white sneakers.
The princess accessorized with black ankle-strap pumps, a gold bracelet, and, of course, her engagement ring. Mozzi collaborated with jeweler Shaun Leane to create the stunning, bespoke three-diamond piece for his future wife. He proposed to Beatrice in early September while they were vacationing in Italy.
‘We are extremely happy to be sharing the news of our recent engagement,’ the couple said in a statement last week. ‘We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.’
Their royal wedding will take place in 2020, although no exact date has been announced yet.
